A very nice experience. The owner was a friendly gentleman who explained the specials to us and kept checking to make sure we were okay. We went with the lamb pasta and a Cretan salad. The flavors were good. If I could suggest something, I've had Cretan salads with a higher vegetable to bread ratio, and there wasn't much meat on the bones, so the dishes could have a little more. This isn't a knock on the food, which was very tasty, it's just not as full of a portion as we've gotten in other restaurants. The music was a nice addition and the singer got us up to dance which was fun. I couldn't give it a full 5 stars in every aspect because when we came, a few of the staff members were sitting around on their phones, and later when we finished everything, everyone was on their phone. For me, it's important to be attentive to your patrons. You can use your phones, but I would hope that you would look out in case the clients needed or wanted something. We had an exceptional experience at this beautiful Cretan village restaurant. The food was truly outstanding – full of authentic flavors, prepared with care, and showcasing the best of local ingredients. After lovely dinner night I’ve decided to come back for cooking class with Chef Vangelis. He is not only a talented chef but also a wonderful teacher – patient, kind, and passionate about sharing Cretan traditions. We learned so much while having fun, and then enjoyed the dishes I helped prepare with my family. I also have to write about chef’s wife Pamela who’s warm personality makes you feel home.

What a beautiful find for somewhere to eat. The food was excellent, the portion sizes were more than we could get through and the value for what you get - absolutely top tier. The staff were very friendly, especially finding out that our Greek host was an honerary Geordie! Whay aye ! It has been the best suprise of our holiday - its tucked away from any of the main roads so unless your passing you may not know its there.... but it would be my number one recommendation for anyone wanting to avoid the 'tourist' hotspots and be treated like family by some of the friendliest locals around.
