Very friendly place, it feels like you have been invited to a family gathering!!

We were after a light snack, some meze and a cold beer, in the middle of the heatwave, and we were lucky enough to choose Staliki.

All the plates, were tasty, felt fresh and locally sourced. I highly recommend to order the zucchini fritters and the vrouvopites, which are fried dumplings, filled with local greens.

The waiter was very friendly and welcoming, representing the true Cretan hospitality.

A convenient place a stop as this is located just minutes from the highway entrance and exit. Staliki resembles of the old time Kefeneio were one can order just coffee or alcohol accompanied by small dishes (mezes / tapas). Everything I tried was cooked with love and the raw ingredients, especially the olive oil, were of high quality!
