ELENIS - SOUVLAKIA — Restaurant in Municipality of Corinth

Came by this place as I was looking for food to take away. for home. It wasn't bad, I'm not a fan of cubed meats...either pass the meat by hand on the skewer or have someone do it for you. This squished chicken cube or pork cube meat on a stick yells out over processed..I know it's not but it looks unappealing. Taste was ok. I've had better here in Corinth, no doubt...fries were EXTREMELY OVER SALTY..been drinking water all night. Good tzatziki, good breads, good service, very good prices...Just wish the meat sticks weren't pressed...

Very good food Bad service Today (Aug 13) went to order Waited in line for 10 mins while staff replied to phone orders and keep ignoring me. Waited in a "queue" of sorts, when my time had come, I asked if I can order, the lady behind the counter replied "yes" and went back replying to phone calls and serving people behind me in the queue (who have come to receive their orders) Another five minutes passed where again was totally ignored - and at that time decided to leave empty handed. We were buying groceries near Corinth before touring the ancient site and needed some lunch, something quick, cheap, and good. I saw the reviews for Eleni on Google and we stopped in. The proprietor is excellent, very polite and very friendly. And the chicken souvlaki pita was AWESOME. Two sandwiches and 2 drinks for under 10€. If you're touring Corinth or Mycenae and are passing through the new town, stop here for lunch. Don't blow your money at some overpriced, overrated tourist cafe...
