En Plo — Restaurant in Municipality of East Mani

Restaurant at Kotronas Bay Bungalows. In the morning they serve breakfast for guests, in the evening it serves as a restaurant. Unfortunately, this is a very poor restaurant by Greek standards. Food very average, tasteless, dry meat. Only 15 minutes away from here, you will find, family tavern with a wood-fired grill, you will eat more, better and 2x cheaper! Unfortunately, the prices here are definitely inadequate to the quality (8€ for greek salad...) and variety of dishes. Service very good and nice. House red...

The restaurant is run by the same people as the Kotronas Bay bungalows and we ate here the three evenings we were in Kotronas. My wife and I are both vegans and the owner of the restaurant made us delicious vegan moussaka and other vegetable dishes. Τα τρία αστέρια μόνο για την τοποθεσία, την θέα και το γενικότερο περιβάλλον. Το ριζότο με μανιτάρια ήταν καλά μαγειρεμένο αλλά δεν μπόρεσα να καταλάβω καμιά από τις γεύσεις γιατί ήταν τόσο αλμυρό που χρειάστηκαν δύο λίτρα νερό για να το φάω όλο. Η "σπεσιαλιτέ" του μαγαζιού είχε την επιλογή να το πάρεις με ψαρονέφρι ή με κοτόπουλο. Επιλέξαμε το ψαρονέφρι αλλά ήταν υπερβολικά σκληρό και κακό μαγειρεμένο με ρύζι και υποτίθεται σως μουστάρδας που στην καλύτερη ήταν μουστάρδα με μέλι του εμπορίου και ίσως όχι από τις καλές. Υπερβολικά ακριβό για αυτό που προσφέρει. Υ.Γ : προς απάντηση στον ιδιοκτήτη... Ήμασταν ένα ζευγάρι και πλήρωσε ο άνδρας μου. Οπότε τις εξυπνάδες καλύτερα να τις αφήσετε και να δείτε πως μπορείτε να βελτιώσετε αυτό...
