Evangelos — Restaurant in Municipality of Folegandros

It’s a must-visit when in Folegandros! I recently visited Evangelos Bar in Karavostasi, Folegandros, and I can’t recommend it highly . This charming seaside establishment operates from morning till night, offering delicious breakfast, coffee and snacks during the day, and transforming into a relaxed cocktail bar in the evening. Located right in front of a beautiful beach where you can swim, the setting is simply perfect. The ambiance is traditional and cozy, with black-and-white movies playing in the background, adding a unique touch to the experience. The music selection is excellent, providing a relaxing atmosphere that perfectly complements the stunning surroundings. Myrtia, the owner, is an incredibly friendly and helpful person. I loved this place and spent as much time here as possible! It's a small oasis right on the beach! The perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of Karavostasis. In the morning, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast by the most picturesque part of the area: the stunning Cohlidia beach. In the evening, it's ideal for cold, refreshing drinks and cocktails, perfectly paired with some tasty mezes (small plates). We tried the prosciutto pizza, hot dog, and bruschetta, all of which were absolutely delicious. Evangelos is the go to place in folegandros port area! Breakfast lunch or aperitivo , it’s always a good idea ti stop by this sea view gem.
