Nice all day bar-restaurant-cafe. Have been there for either coffee, brunch and dinner. Focusing on my last meal, I had a warm caprese which I didn't quite enjoyed cause I am not used to eating warm cherry tomatoes. Didn't exactly had pesto flavor but the warm goat cheese was fine. Have to point that this is more about my kind of taste and not an overall bad choice as it is what it claims to be "a warm caprese". Also had a stiploin steak and a wagyu picanha both asked medium rare. The striploin was served and cut excellently. On the other hand the picanha was rather medium at some points than medium-rare. Have to say that the stuff was quite friendly, warm and helpful. While cutting the meat they asked if it was looking properly cooked. I wondered if I had an opposing opinion what would have been done to get the reply that the dish would have been replaced. At the moment I didn't make any complaints but based on the general environment be pretty sure that any issues will be heard and kindly treated. Dessert was on the house. Overall LEFKES ON THE SIDE are an excellent choice for...
Read moreThe experience was nothing short of a culinary disaster. The food was mediocre at best and scandalously overpriced. The meat selection was abysmal, with not a soul capable of explaining the different cuts or their origins. The pièce de résistance—a rack of meat costing nearly 100€ per kilo—was left for us to butcher ourselves.
The staff's English was woefully inadequate, leaving us in the dark about our meal. The service was a disgrace: our table was smeared with "bloody water" from the meat, and their attempt to clean it involved a filthy cloth that merely pushed the mess under our plates. They had the audacity to cover the hidden grime with a couple of clean napkins.
Our requests for butter were ignored multiple times, and ordering anything took an eternity. The men’s bathroom was in a state of utter squalor, verging on the revolting.
This place is a travesty, a mere backdrop for Instagrammers with no regard for...
Read moreWe were asked if we smoke and we said no! Without informing us that the only available table was on the smoking area they put us there. We also said that we came for food and the table was too small to fit all the dishes we ordered it was more suitable for just beer and fingerfood I would say. The pork with kefalograviera cheese was overcooked and hard to cut even with the knife that has been brought for that meat (in general a very sharp one). Chicken and salad was ok. Sweet potato pouré had too much decorating garnitures(nuts and flowers), hard to taste the original product. Watching the chef in the kitchen with long hair not tight up and without a hat was disturbing also watching the mixer for the milk for freddo cappuccino super dirty without been so busy also not a good impression. But the worst was putting a pregnant lady next to a table where a man was smoking a super heavy and super...
