Aeolous Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Ierapetra

We visited Aeolus as part of the resort’s offer – one complimentary à-la-carte dinner per week. The ambience is minimalistic yet pleasant, and the staff were truly kind and attentive throughout the evening.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet expectations. Based on other guests’ feedback (which we can confirm), the ravioli were extremely firm – almost raw – and lacked any real shrimp flavor.

The dessert, a so-called “Tiramisu ball”, had very little in common with actual tiramisu. In our case, we also experienced some light stomach discomfort afterwards, which made the meal less enjoyable in retrospect.

While we appreciated the relaxed setting and the friendly service, the overall food quality felt below the resort’s otherwise high standard, especially for one of its signature...

Το Αίολος Restaurant στο Ostria Resort είναι μια γαστρονομική εμπειρία που αξίζει πραγματικά! Από την αρχή, με το ζεστό ψωμί και τα υπέροχα ντιπ – ξεχωρίσαμε εκείνο με τη ντομάτα – μέχρι και τα ορεκτικά, όλα ήταν εξαιρετικά, καλοφτιαγμένα και με φρέσκα υλικά. Για κυρίως επιλέξαμε τον μοντέρνο μουσακά, τα ραβιόλια με γαρίδες και τον κόκορα ραγού. Όλα τα πιάτα ήταν καλομαγειρεμένα, ισορροπημένα και γεμάτα γεύση: ο μουσακάς ελαφρύς και δημιουργικός, τα ραβιόλια λεπτεπίλεπτα και αρωματικά, και ο κόκορας αυθεντικός με βαθιά νοστιμιά. Το ντόπιο κρασί που μας πρότειναν, ξηρό αλλά φρουτώδες, συνόδευσε τέλεια το φαγητό. Η ατμόσφαιρα και το σέρβις ολοκληρώνουν την εμπειρία, που σε κάνει να νιώθεις ότι βρίσκεσαι σε πραγματικό γαστρονομικό προορισμό και όχι απλώς σε εστιατόριο ξενοδοχείου.

À découvrir sans hésiter ! Septique au début pour mon fils de 12 ans au vu de la carte, nous avons été ravis du moment partagé . Il a gouté , testé et mangé de tout à ma grande surprise . Service attentionné et très pro , plats originaux , frais et proposés à base de produits d’ici. Tout est bon ! Très bon rosé . La petite place dans un contexte hôtelier est calme belle et élégante. Très bon rapport qualité prix ! A tester...
