Koralli Restaurant & Poolbar — Restaurant in Municipality of Ierapetra

We just went here again to benefit from the good weather, while Chersonisou has some rain and dark clouds today we knew the south side of the island is mostly sunny.

We rented a car all in insurance at POP motors in Chersonisou 30€ a day (i10) price when we rented it for 5 days. Since the weather on the Northern side of the island will be cloudy for a long time we knew the south side would be the only guarantee for some sun.

The beach is still nice clean and relaxed , not crowded and most of the time the wind is coming from the island instead of the sea hence the temperature on this side of the island is higher then the Northern side of the island.

There is a new sign saying the beach chairs and umbrellas are free of charge for guests of the camping and the Korali restaurant, but when i asked a older gentleman of the Camping he said we are allowed to use them without paying for this time (even i offered to pay he said we could use them)

The restaurant is closed today but inside there is some live music going on so when i walked in to the restaurant the management still wanted to make me a delicious frappe (:

Γρηγορη εξυπηρέτηση στο εστιατόριο αλλά κ στις ξαπλώστρες στην παραλία....οι σερβιτόρες αρκετά ειρωνικες...πληρώσαμε τον λογαριασμό στον νεαρό την πρώτη μέρα κ μετά από λίγο έρχεται η κοπέλα κ ξαναζηταει να ξαναπληρωσουμε ...της λέμε ότι πληρώσαμε στον νεαρό κ επιμένει...της το ξαναλέμε κ μας απαντάει με ύφος "Με κοροϊδεύετε"!!!!....αυτο συνεχίστηκε μέχρι που της δείξαμε τον σερβιτόρο.....ευτυχώς που ο σύζυγος μου θυμόταν τον κύριο φυσιογνωμικα.... την επόμενη μέρα άλλη κοπέλα στο service μας ζήτησε να μετακινηθουμε λόγω Κυριακής στο χωρο του εστιατορίου για φαγητό....το Σάββατο μας είχαν σερβίρει εξω....της είπα πως τα παιδιά είναι βρεγμένα κ πως θα κάτσουν στις καρέκλες κ με χαμόγελο "ειρωνεία καθαρη" μας λέει θα βγάλω τα μαξιλαράκια από τις καρέκλες....την ώρα που τα έβγαζε, της λέω 2 φορές "εγώ είμαι στεγνη" για να μου αφήσει το μαξιλαρι Που προφανώς δεν το άκουσε από τα νεύρα της κ συνέχισε να μιλάει μόνη της "νομίζετε ότι τα βγαζω από το μυαλό μου, αλλά όχι είναι πολιτική του εστιατορίου " ενώ κάνεις μας δεν είχε καμία διαθεση να το συνεχίσει.... Έκανα λάθος γιατί νόμιζα ότι κ τις 2 μέρες ήταν η ίδια κοπέλα στο service.....δυστυχώς ήταν 2 διαφορετικές κ λέω δυστυχώς γιατί αυτό σημαίνει ότι δεν υπάρχει έλεγχος απο την διεύθυνση....οι κύριοι στο εστιατόριο τυπικότατοι κ ευγενικοτατοι!! Υπεροχο το φαγητό κ πεντακάθαρες εγκαταστάσεις!! Το μόνο μείον στην παραλία θα έλεγα πως είναι οι κλειδωμένες ξαπλώστρες την ώρα λειτουργίας κ που χρησιμοποιούνται από τους πελάτες .... δεν μπορείς να τις μετακινήσεις γύρω από την ομπρέλα σου αν σε πιάνει ο ήλιος αν κ τις έχεις πληρώσει για χρήση....θα μπορούσαν να έβγαζαν τις αλυσίδες κάθε πρωί κ με την δύση του ήλιου να...

We went there yesterday in the afternoon. We like the concept of that place. We took two sunchairs for 2€ for the hole time. They offer drinks and snacks there (sandwiches, salad and more) for a very nice price!!!! In the evening we went to the Restaurant in front of the beach and here we were very suprised, too. Nice Pool in the middle (with kids area) and here as well nice menu and nice price!!!! Food was very delicious!!!! If we spent more time at Crete we definitly will come back again!!! We just recommend this place...
