Long Beach resort — Hotel in Municipality of Ierapetra

Cancelled reservation I had a confirmed and paid booking via 'booking.com' for three nights, including August 15th. Suddenly, a few days ago (4/8), I was informed that the reservation was cancelled. From booking.com I was initially told that it was due to a double reservation mistake caused by the owner, but later the owner told me that he had an accident and thus health reasons will prevent him from operating the business (I will be closed, he told me). I am really sorry if the man got injured and I wish him quick recovery. However, as I finally was at the area (in another accommodation - which did not satisfy me because after the last-minute cancellation the options were very limited), I passed in front of the business repeatedly and I saw that it appeared to operate completely normally. Therefore, I am convinced that my reservation was canceled due to the double reservation and not for health reasons; thus, I find it unacceptable if the health issues were put forward as an excuse – I would...

My reservation was canceled cause the owner said it was due right now booking on airbnb. After they deactivated the right now booking function the apartment was still possible to book at this time. The service was horrible, I waited 2 days to get an answer. The owner recommended me other places which were more expensive, not near the sea. Always took 48 hours for an answer....
