Words escape me but I will try to sum up our experience today. Of all the terrible service I’ve had in my life, this place took the cake. It was a case of active lack of service or even awareness, almost 20 mins after arrival we were finally seen and our order taken, we were not the only table looking for staff, and no, it was far from busy. The half kilo of Lamb from the spit was the most astonishing off-cut I’ve ever had the misfortune of being served on a plate, somehow ribs, connective tissues and fat that left us guessing that of the 500g promised, 250g was likely bones. The lasagna and the moussaka arrived cold to the touch, when asked to reheat it the staff took the two orders away never to return! When we finally chased someone down again, nearly 20 mins after waiting, to enquire where the dishes went we were then brought two whole new pieces where the lasagna was again cold to the touch underneath! My mother in law was outright upset, my 10 year old son had gone past the point of hunger by the point they finally brought his lasagna and hence he didn’t eat more than a few bites…the only one not disappointed was my 9 year old son who order chicken nuggets and fries.
Would I recommend this place? Sadly, I could be generous and say I caught them on a bad day, but I doubt it. Advice to the management is to have staff that care about customer service and see their position as representing the establishment as a whole. Look at the plate of meat served and ask yourself, would I serve this to my mother? And for items like Lasagna or Moussaka, check the temperature with a knife or a food thermometer so as to avoid food poisoning a customer. I’m shocked they have as many positive reviews, as one other reviewer joked, one wonders who wrote them. Maybe standards have slipped greatly because of the pandemic, who knows, either way, we will not revisit this experience. Even the donut balls with cinnamon and syrup were dense and not fluffy. Overall, disappointed with the experience for the entire family,...
Read moreThis year (2023) the visit to the restaurant was a complete disappointment. Meat portions have been drastically reduced (in comparison with previous years) in favour of more fried potates (a lot!), pitta bread, rice... and plain bread. Unless you are a carb lover and ready to pay mostly for carbs, then go. They didnt have any cooked vegetables to offer at all, and we asked. Only potential salads, but that is not cooked food. The fries were not crisp, but had been heated up. They were too soft. And the loukoumades for dessert: they had mixed fresh ones just deepfried, with dry, older ones they had reheated! Do they think the customer won't tell the difference? The price is then quite high if you consider that you pay for very little meat in your plate. To be avoided...
Read moreJe dois malheureusement modifier l avis que j ai laissé l an dernier.
