A unique family-run tavern located at the end of a narrow alley up in the mountain village of Menetes. The owners are the descendants of the man who original opened this restaurant 40-years prior. They take great pride in their kitchen and garden, and rightly so since their food is delicious! They have a small traditional menu, but the recipes to every dish they serve are family-secrets handed down from one generation to the next.
Our visit was concluded by a tour of the old family quarters, which has been kept in its original state in order to show how they use to live in the days of old. A real treat and something that added to the unique experience.
