BarBe — Restaurant in Municipality of Kimolos

Having breakfast at BarBe, I must say, exceeded all my expectations! Needless to say, that was my daily habit for as long as we stayed in Kimolos. From the moment I stepped in the gorgeous veranda, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The breakfast menu was a delightful array of options. Each dish was beautifully presented and the attention to detail and use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients was evident in every bite. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff always ready to accommodate any dietary preferences or special requests. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality and variety offered. Finally a special mention for the music of this place. Incredible!! This place is probably the best brunch spot on the island. This gem is located in a picturesque alley at Kimolos' Chorio. First things first, their coffee was a 10/10, we got coffee to go every day. This goes as well for their brunch, which is homemade cooked with the most fresh local ingredients. We had avocado toast and strapatsada twice, both were delicious. Don't forget to go at night to try their cocktails too, their Aperol spritz was a highlight !! While the menu price of a coctail was 9euros, it was charged with a higher price in the final bill. When we asked why the menu did not reflect the real price, we got the response that they didn’t like the aesthetics of adding a new label for the updated price next to each coctail. Also, we got the ironic response that there was a generic note at the back page of the menu (you literally need a magnifier to notice) that there might be price changes at anytime! So if each coctail was charged 10times the menu price, the bar would be ethically covered! Well done guys! Clever! Fully...
