Palaia Agora Kimolos - Grill — Restaurant in Municipality of Kimolos

Food was pretty good and the quality of everything was pretty high. The portions were big, too. So why a 3 star? Here is my experience with this store. I went there at 21:30. They said they had 4 more tables before me waiting, I said no problem. Got a table at 22:20. The table wasn't cleaned up until 22:30. I didn't order until 22:50. The food came quickly, at around 23:00, but everything else took way to much time. The main reason for this; There is only 1 person taking orders, cleaning the tables, serving the food and preparing the takeaway orders. Plus to make things even worse, by the time we sat down, the waiter told us that half the food that was on the menu (including gyros and kebabs) wasn't available because they ran out. Food was great and it was on the inexpensive side. Unfortunately, it took them more than 40 minutes to prepare a salad and a plate of chicken skewers with pita bread and fries, although the other customers already got their food. Have down THE BEST souvlaki with bifteki ever. They kept telling us to go since day one but we didn't listen. Last night if our stay I got one while not particularly hungry just to see what they were talking about and BOY I regretted I didn't try it the first day on the island.
