We had a fantastic meal at Eucalyptus Traditional Restaurant. I ordered the chicken leg on a skewer, which came with delicious grilled vegetables, saffron rice, hand-cut French fries, and a generous serving of tzatziki. The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully plated — everything on the dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care.

We also had the cod with garlic sauce, which was equally delicious. The fish was tender and well-cooked, and the garlic sauce added just the right amount of richness. It came with hand-cut fries and vibrant beets — a simple but very satisfying combination.

We ordered a separate cabbage and lettuce salad as well, which was crisp, fresh, and lightly dressed — a great complement to the rest of the meal.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the setting is full of charm. We especially loved the beautiful eucalyptus tree the restaurant is named after, and the outdoor wood-fired oven where you can catch a glimpse of what’s being prepared.

Charming restaurant with fantastic food! A must stop! I only found this place as while driving to Elafonisi I saw the eucalyptus tree and was really taken by it so naturally had to look it up. I ended up leaving Elafonisi early simply to come back and try the restaurant as I saw the great reviews! I was not disappointed. The cod with garlic sauce was amazing and so well cooked! The restaurant is so charming, shadowed by the incredible tree. It really is a lovely way to spend the afternoon and definitely worth leaving the crowds of Elafonisi for!
