Sunset Taverna — Restaurant in Municipality of Kissamos

We landed here by chance. First surprise was that instead of Greek music, they had blues. I was almost there to give my order, when the owner recommended me a kind of speciality of the house (anticristo ??? - don't remember well) which at the end was a real surprise!! This was the best lamb I ate on Crete during our vacation, including some well known restaurants in Chania too. Worst food we had in Crete. The place looks nice and has a great view. That is the end of advantages. The food is horrible, not fresh small portions and very fat greasy. My lamb was not edible. You must visit here! The host is incredible. Cretan hospitality is great in general; but this was was beyond cretan hospitality. This was the best place we visited in an 11 day trip and the best Cretan (sunset) salad we had!
