Mitsis Blue Domes Tex-Mex Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

Our last night at the beautiful Mitsis, and we definitely saved the best for last! Wow — probably the best service we’ve had all holiday. The staff were amazing, the food was faultless, and even the wine was spot on.

We started with the beef chimichanga — a generous portion and absolutely packed with flavour. Even the corn starter was unexpectedly delicious!

For mains, we went with the quesadillas and chicken fajitas, as recommended by our waiter — and they did not disappoint. So tasty!

We were almost too full for dessert, but couldn’t resist the banana & chocolate chimichangas… absolutely divine. Not a single plate left with a crumb!

Very good food and service.

We have been there 2 times while our Hollidays at the Blue domes and we can say it’s absolutely a recommendation for people who like good food. We tried nearly all dishes even from starters, main courses and dessert

Our Favorite at the main courses is the „Filet con Cheddar“ but also the others are close by.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und zum Tisch geführt. Der Kellner kam zügig und nahm unsere Getränkebestellung auf.

Als die Getränke kamen, konnten wir auch schon direkt bestellen.

Zur Vorspeise hatten wir Chicken burrito, beef chimichanga und Tacos mit chilli con carne.

Chicken Burrito hatte die perfekte Vorspeisengröße. Leider war das Hähnchen paniert und schmeckte sehr zäh, da es bereits schon länger kalt war. Es fehlte auch etwas an Soße, so dass der Burrito eher trocken schmeckte.

Die hard Taco shells waren zugekauft und ebenfalls bereits schon länger auf, so dass sie ihre knusprigkeit verloren hatten. Geschmacklich war das Fleisch gut, aber leider fehlte es an Würze, was man bei einer mexikanischen Küche erwarten würde.

Das Beef chimichanga war eine positive Überraschung und ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Zum Hauptgänge wählten wir einmal das Surf and Turf, sowie die Chicken fajitas. Die fajitas wurden bereits aufgerollt serviert. Und waren geschmacklich leider sehr langweilig.

Das Fleisch hingegen war gut, sowie auch die zwei kleinen Garnelen.

Auch hier fehlte leider einfach die Liebe zum Detail. Mit nur wenig Mehraufwand könnte man dem Gast ein tolles...
