Kamares Multivenue — Restaurant in Municipality of Kythira

This place truly lives up to the "multivenue" label, an impressive, high-standard destination that combines excellent food, service, and ambiance.

We visited twice, once for brunch and once for dinner, and were consistently impressed. The restaurant delivers on all fronts: top-notch cuisine (kudos to the kitchen team), impeccable service, and a thoughtfully designed space that feels both stylish and welcoming.

Portions are generous, perhaps more than necessary, but perfect for sharing, which allowed us to try a wide variety of dishes. The wine list is also worth noting, with some interesting and well-curated options.

The outdoor bar is a real highlight. With music at just the right volume, it’s the ideal spot to unwind with a drink after your meal. We arrived early and enjoyed a few games of billiards and ping pong, a fun touch that adds to the venue’s relaxed and inclusive vibe.

Καταρχάς μιλάμε για ένα πολυχωρο. Έχει από γυμναστήριο, παιδοτοπο έως μπαρ και εστιατόριο. Ο χώρος είναι πολύ προσεγμένος με έμφαση στη λεπτομέρεια και μοντερνος. Ένιωθες αρκετά ευχάριστα εβρισκόμενος μέσα.

Το φαγητό ήταν αρκετά καλό αλλά με περιθωρεια βελτίωσης για αυτό και τα 4 αστέρια. Πήραμε για ορεκτικο μια τάρτα quiche lorraine με χοιρινό η οποία ήταν πολύ νόστιμη. Η τιμή της στα 18€. Λίγο τσιμπημενη.

Για κυρίως διαλέξαμε ένα οσομπουκο μπερζε με κριθαροτο βουτυρου και σάλτσα παρμεζανας. Το οποίο ήταν αρκετά νόστιμο και μαγειρεμένο όσο έπρεπε. Το μόνο που παρατήρησα ήταν ότι δεν καταλάβαινες την παρμεζάνα. Ίσως ήθελε λίγο παραπάνω. Η τιμή του στα 28€.

Επόμενο πιάτο διαλέξαμε από τα πιάτα ημέρας. Γαριδομακαροναδα. Αρχικά να πω πως η μερίδα κανονικά ήταν για 2 άτομα καθώς ήταν τεράστια. Σε αυτό συνηγορεί και η τιμή της που ήταν στα 42 ευρω. Κάτι για το οποίο δεν μας ενημέρωσαν με αποτέλεσμα να περισσέψει η μισή τουλάχιστον. Η μακαρονάδα ήταν καυτερή για τα γούστα μας και της έλειπε κάτι που θα την έκανε νόστιμη. Η γεύση ήταν φλατ, ουδέτερη. Ούτε κρύο ούτε ζέστη. Έχουμε φάει και καλύτερες.

Το προσωπικό εξαιρετικά ευγενικό με ευχάριστη διάθεση και έτοιμο να μας εξυπηρετησει. Το μόνο που θα μπορούσα να πω είναι πως σε ένα μαγαζί με αυτή την κατηγορία τιμών, περιμένεις το προσωπικό που θα πάρει την παραγγελία να γνωρίζει τα πιάτα και τη μέθοδο μαγειρέματος ώστε να σου...
