First of all pets are not allowed, not even small ones despite the fact that there is an open terrace, so be mindful of that.

The food is OK, tasty but nothing special. The portions are on the bigger side. And that's where the good stuff ends. The owner (mr. George) who also works there as the head waiter is a grumpy old dude with no manners whatsoever (in greek: χωριαταρος). He is exactly what you'd expect from a man that prohibits pets from his place. He is also strongly opinionated which may be good for the company but not while he takes your order. For example we asked for tap water and his reply was "only bottled water in Kythera, tap water is bad for health" and the conversation ended there. On the bright side the other waiters were very kind and friendly.

In conclusion, 2 stars are for the tasty food and the big portions which are totally ruined by the owners...

Went there yesterday. We were a party of 6 and it was very busy. Everyone did everything they could to serve our needs. They found us a table after waiting for a bit, the food was super tasty and the service very very polite and running around to serve everyone all the time. Rude rude people. Such a shame because it’s a great location. Tables are all cramped together, no one comes to check for drinks. Slow service.
