Remétzo — Restaurant in Municipality of Larissa

Three of us walked in. Guy was super nice status right down and ask if you wanted fish or chicken. I chose the chicken with french fries. My friends chose fish. He asked them to choose the fish they wanted from a refrigerated drawer. One chose the cod and the other a white fish. It was cooked to perfection…..until We got the bill. €125….for lunch! €60 for the white fish, €45 for the cod and €20 for the chicken breast and french fries (small very flat chicken breast). Since it was lunch size portions we figured €60 max. Nope. He saw us coming...

The food was tasty and solid. Price was a bit expensive, though. Some dishes were kinda on the small size too. Like the "xorta" salad and the "mpougiourdi" cheese. Πήγαμε μεσημέρι. Ο σερβιτόρος χωρίς να μας φέρει κατάλογο μας πρότεινε καλαμάρια φρέσκα και κουτσομούρες. Συμφωνήσαμε σε αυτά. Πήραμε επίσης ένα μπιφτέκι γεμιστό. Τα θαλασσινά ήρθαν σχετικά γρήγορα και ήταν αρκετά νόστιμα. Το μπιφτέκι ήρθε μετά από 70 λεπτά ακριβώς. Όταν του κάναμε παρατήρηση μας είπε ότι στη σχάρα ψήθηκαν πριν ψάρια και έπρεπε να την καθαρίσουν πριν βάλουν το μπιφτέκι. Λογική εξήγηση αλλά μια ώρα την καθάριζαν;;; Και γιατί δεν μας το είπαν πριν να μην παραγγείλουμε κρεατικό;;; Τέλος πάντων, αφού φάγαμε ζητήσαμε τον λογαριασμό. Για 6 καλαμαράκια βάρους 350 γραμμαρίων πληρώσαμε 20 ευρώ και για 8 μικρές κουτσομούρες 16 ευρώ. Φαρμακείο!!!Αν μας είχε φέρει κατάλογο δεν θα τα παραγγελναμε. Φταίμε κι εμείς, βέβαια, που δεν ρωτήσαμε τιμή, αλλά κανείς μας δεν περίμενε...
