Aloni Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Leros

They got my order wrong and then proceed to argue with me saying I ordered wrong when the 3 other people heard my order and told the waiter he was wrong. I accepted the grilled squid, it was over cooked and rubbery and they were 2 very small squid, 8-10cm long, I expected them to come with something but nothing turned up so I asked for some fries. 11.50€ for the 2 tiny squid and 4€ for the fries. Very poor and a waiter that smiles on the odd occasion would also help. The 3 others with me said their food was just "ok", not something to write home about. Lovely location but we won't...

For the last 2 days we have enjoyed all the perks of this gorgeous little spot.

The view is spectacular, from the sand looking south towards to the neighbouring islands mountains. The staff are warm, attentive, quick & just lovely all-round. Our meals have been sincerely delicious & with a variety of seating styles; beach chairs, deck chairs/ tables & shaded restaurant area.. how can you loose.

The swordfish was good, the lamb chops where only 4 pieces and mostly bones and fat. When I was asked about the food and I told them about the lamb chops, the answer was: you should have taken the chicken. I live 5-6 month in greece, I know quite well how lamb chops could taste.
