We visited this restaurant during our holiday in Greece, attracted by the good reviews and the charming location. Unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable. As soon as we sat down, several stray cats approached our table. At first, it might have seemed picturesque, but very quickly the situation got out of hand: the cats literally jumped on us and ate directly from the children’s plates. We understand that in Greece the presence of cats in outdoor restaurants is quite common, but in this case there was absolutely no management from the staff. No alternative or solution was offered, and in the end we were unable to eat.
The bill was canceled only when we asked not to pay for what the children hadn't eaten. There are many restaurants in Italy with cats, but it has absolutely never happened that cats climb onto the tables and eat directly from the diners' plates. Not paying the bill doesn't make up for the terrible experience and the traumatic event the children went through. We all love animals, but the presence of animals at the table is absolutely unhygienic. At this point, since everything is so normal for the restaurant owners, I deduce that the presence of animals is constant, even in the kitchen during food preparation. In fact, all the animals appeared from inside the restaurant when the dishes were delivered. A terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless you want to...
Read moreStarters were good but main dishes very disappointing! Overcooked meat and not tasty.. lamb chops, chicken filet, chicken souvlaki and pork souvlaki altogether nobody liked their food. staff didn't even ask us how we liked it so they probably know already and are only doing it for the tourist's money. (Can't believe locals are dining there regularly) Portions were very small too as well as the table that couldn't fit the few plates at all. (We don't want to play Tetris by fitting everything on it) Ambiente was not bad but very noisy due to the street corner right next to it. Ouzo was poorly refilled into generic bottles / unlabelled?? It was definitely diluted with water as it tasted very mild to every other ouzo we had on our vacation. I will never come back again and feeling somewhat sorry for their grandfather who started the restaurant in 1981. Toilets looked disgusting - no good sign. I don't know how the good reviews on tripadvisor came to be... Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The other reviews here look very fake to me because everyone rates 5 stars in every category and only few text descriptions...
Read more5/5 stars for everything, the food is really good (if you like meat dishes), the service very kind and always with a smile and the seating outside super nice (you don't hear the street noise, you're not bothered by the wind, you always sit in the shade). There are a few vegetarian/vegan options but in general the restaurant serves meat dishes so I wouldn't recommend it to vegans. We payed 25 euros pp but didn't order expensive drinks. We had a lot to eat, so 20 euros pp would also be possible. Highly...
