Nice Cretan taverna, quite a few options to choose from. The staff is friendly, you get water, bread and a small appetizer + a generous vial of rakia on the house and also a digestive at the end. The food is really good, I have ordered a bifteka filled with gruyere and I loved it. The only feedback I have is the grilled vegetables were literally four small pieces, maybe add a few more. This is a proper proper Cretan cuisine restaurant. They do one thing (Cretan) and do it as good as it can get. The ambience is perfect, the tables are well organised with plenty of room in between, the decoration shouts Crete and the food... imaginative, well executed, and presented. This is an absolutely fantastic Cretan restaurant, very well run by very nice people and offering very high quality food. I tried a number of things and all of them are fantastic. Try Apaki, Syglino, sausages with staka, lamb with stamnagathi, try whatever you like and you will have great food. Their orange pie is possibly the best one I tasted.
