A place for people with more money than taste.

We were severely disappointed with our dining experience at Makris. The sort of place where you can spend €15 pimping out your crisps (labelled as french fries on the menu) with Gruyere cheese and truffle oil, or €30 to add some caviar to a dish, even if the dish doesn’t call for it.

The food is wildly overpriced and we found the palette distinctly lacking. Overly salty and missing a lot of freshness that you’d expect from a menu boasting seasonality/local produce.

The view is of course stunning, and our opening cocktails quite nice, but the service was lacking. We waited 25 minutes to pay, after our bill was delivered to the table (the restaurant was 1/3 full). The staff also stack up all the empty bowls and plates in the open bar area, in full view of the customers, which was rather unpleasant.

This is a classic fancy hotel restaurant. Most of the diners are likely staying at the hotel and likely eat there every night. They’re missing out. Milos has lots of stunning cuisine to be savoured (at low and high prices), but unfortunately you won’t find...

Dinning at Makris while staying at Domes White Coast was unforgettable! We stayed 4 days / 3 nights and were thoroughly not disappointed. We dined at Makris for breakfast every day (as it was included in our stay) and 2 nights for dinner. Dinner at Makris was our favorite meal while in Milos!

I have food allergies (gluten/dairy) and they were incredibly accommodating throughout every meal. During our first dinner they even created a custom dessert that was gluten/dairy free friendly - this wasn’t the normal, (tired) fresh fruit or sorbet option - I was completely blown away! I gotta say, I’ve been to a number of fine dining establishments and this was by far one of the best and most thoughtful desserts and gestures I’ve encountered.

My only suggestion would be to switch up the playlist. The acoustic covers of pop songs were distracting. I felt like the music didn’t match the incredibly high-class quality of the restaurant and the surrounding natural beauty.

Besides my small suggestion- I cannot recommend...

Absolutely perfect dining experience at Makris Milos Fine Dining Restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

The food was outstanding — every dish was a true masterpiece. The salads were fresh and full of flavor, the Black Angus beef was perfectly cooked and simply melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the desserts were both creative and exquisite. The wine selection complemented the meal beautifully.

On top of the amazing tastes, the restaurant itself is stunning. The elegant décor together with the breathtaking view creates a unique and unforgettable atmosphere — the ideal destination for a special evening.
