Viandini | Beach Café - Bar - Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Monemvasia

The place is nice, at the sea side. The service was stressful (presumably because a large table arrived) and the coordination was bad. One starter arrived with the main course, so we didn’t eat this one. The waiter said, it came late but we should enjoy the vacation and relax, take out time to eat. One person at our table ordered the fish of the day, as the main course, paid 63 EUR for this , and when the whole table had finished all food and looked at deserts, we asked where the fish staid. Only answer was that it takes long to bake the fish as it’s a 900 grammes fish. It was clear that upon our ask, and upon observing that the table was already emptied for dessert, that they started to bake the fish, in a rush or in a panic. The fish came 15 mins later completely blackened and they managed to save probably 150 grammes of burned but just eatable fish. All we had with the 63 euro fish, and after the other people on the table were half asleep, was half a lemon. I have already ordered fish of the day a number of times in Greece and was always treated as a king. Here I was treated as an imbecile. If at least it were prepared correctly, but I have never seen such a blackened fish before, and 30 minutes after everybody else. Maybe they just left it bake for an hour and forgot to bring it ?? Πήραμε σχεδόν όλο τον κατάλογο με μεγάλη παρέα Όλα ήταν άψογα σαν πιάτα και φρεσκάδα και μαγειρική , εκπληκτικα. Η τοποθεσία και η διακόσμηση και όλα τέλεια, έρχομαι δεύτερη φορά και το έχουν αναβαθμίσει.

Τα μείον τα εξής:

Παραγγείλαμε 2 πιάτα κολοκυθοκεφτέδες εκ των οποίων το ένα είχε μόνο 5 κομματάκια ενώ το άλλο 15 περίπου Της το αναφέραμε απλά να το ξέρει χωρίς να ζητήσουμε κάτι και έφερε ένα τρίτο πιάτο με την εξήγηση ότι δε θα χρεωθεί και ότι το έστειλαν σαν έξτρα επειδή το προηγούμενο είχε 5 κομμάτια Δεν είχε νόημα , ας τα μοίραζαν όλα σωστά στα δύο πρώτα

Γαριδομακαρονάδες και μακαρονάδα του ψαρά ήταν υπερβολικά ΠΑΡΑΒΡΑΣΜΕΝΑ τα μακαρόνια σε σημείο να είναι λαπάς. Όταν βάζουμε στο τέλος επειδή τη ρουφάει το μακαρόνι, κάνουμε επίτηδες τα μακαρόνια περισσότερο αλ Ντεντε γιατί μετά θα μαλακώσουν περισσότερο. Ενας σεφ στο επάγγελμα δε το ξέρει αυτό ενώ το ξέρει μια απλά μαγείρισσα; Και στη τελική αν ήταν "ατύχημα" και παρα-εβρασαν, προσωπικά θα έφτιαχνα καινούργια εκ νέου. Δε θα το σερβιρα έτσι. Μεγάλη απογοήτευση γιατί είχαμε ακούσει τα καλύτερα για τις μακαρονάδες και δεν είναι και φτηνό πιάτο. Και πήραμε 3!

Τρίτο μεγάλο μείον, με το λογαριασμό που έκανε η παρέα ήταν ΑΥΤΟΝΟΗΤΟ να σερβιριστεί στο τέλος κάποιο γλυκό , κάποιο σφινακι; Έστω φρούτα; Δε σερβιριστηκε τίποτα λοιπόν και έπρεπε εμείς να ζητήσουμε λίγα φρούτα, τα οποία μας τα έκοψαν κ τα έφεραν με μεγάλη δυσανασχετηση.

Θα εβαζα 3-4 αστέρια έστω, αλλά ήταν απογοήτευση γιατί ήρθαμε να φάμε καλά και γενικότερα η αντιμετώπιση ηταν περίεργη λίγο, αν και ευγενικοί εννοείται. Τα γράφω όλα αυτά για να βελτιωθούν στο μέλλον και να τα έχουν υπόψιν Όταν ξαναέρθω μπορω να αλλάξω και την κριτική ✌🏼

Υ.γ. το γατάκι που κοντεύει να πεθάνει από τραυματισμό στο κεφάλι, κάντε το κόπο να πάρετε ένα τηλέφωνο τη φιλοζωική της περιοχής... Αν...

It took 20 minutes for the staff to come and take our order and the starters did arrive at our table quite quickly. However the mains came out one at a time and 30 minutes in, there was still no calamari so we cancelled it. There was no apology, just an excuse that they were busy.
