It’s such a shame when you’re on holiday, and you get some good recommendations about a restaurant’s food, but the service quality (which is very essential) is not on par.

I called about 5 times to get a reservation. No reply. I thought “oh well, they don’t work with reservations”. I arrive with a smile at the beautiful restaurant, full of beautiful aromas from the food, only to ask for a table for two. The waiter in charge started laughing at the fact that I didn’t have a reservation! I explained kindly, that I tried five times via phone, but that didn’t work either.

So he just left me waiting alone at the entrance, watching all their regulars (I could tell by the way the staff was greeting them) sitting in their tables. At the 20 minute mark, I decided to ask a very kind young lady whether there was a point for me to wait for a table. She kindly said “unfortunately your wait for a table will be unfruitful tonight”

I will be very honest, didn’t get to try the pasta, pizza, or any other specialty this lovely place has. But do I want to try again another night after being completely ignored as a new customer?

You may answer the question yourselves, but this review is here mainly for possibly helpful feedback to the restaurant so they won’t lose new customers in the future.

We’ve been visiting this place every year for the past four years, and it never disappoints! The atmosphere is cozy, with a warm tavern-like charm that makes you feel right at home.

The food is absolutely delicious – authentic Italian flavors in every dish. From perfectly cooked pasta to flavorful pizzas and other specialties, everything is always fresh and full of taste.

On top of that, the service is incredibly friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better.

Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys genuine Italian cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere.

Summer 2023 Well we are now on our 3rd consecutive visit on this little gem over our week long holiday around the area and I can safely say that this place beats every single Italian restaurant I have ever visited.
