We showed up early to our reservation, as we Americans do. We drove a little ways out of town in our rental car to get here. Small, outdoor seating. The food and experience was wonderful and we felt like we were eating at a restaurant for locals, but clearly a few tourists knew to come out here. My family has been visiting Vicky’s taverna for years and it is still, hands down, the best place we’ve ever eaten.
The food is indescribably delicious and fresh. Vicky prepares the best possible meal, using the freshest ingredients that day. When we try to recreate Greek recipes, Vicky’s food is the bar we aspire to (and can never come close).
Her food is amazing and she makes you feel at home in her restaurant. It’s so lovely to sit under the grape arbor and listen to the sounds of the little town.
Vicky’s tavern is a must-have for anyone visiting Greece - it’s a destination and meal you’ll talk about for...
