This a fabulous little please in the picturesque village of Potamia. We've been twice now, very impressed both times. Food and value very good. service friendly, views amazing over the valley below. Traditional Greek recipes with fresh Naxos products. As well as great food, there were some small special touches we especially appreciated - the fresh warm sour dough bread, and the little dish of fresh made butter, with salt & herbs, and some local cheese, arriving first, as a gift of the house - so nice. The zucchini fires are as light as feathers, and we love the bread-crumbed fried melitzana (aubergine or eggplant if from UK/USA). A new taste for us. Fried potatoes excellent, and tried some pork yesterday, pancetta style, again, super. A big thing for us: The Wine!!! REALLY good wine 'by the miso kilo' light cool and tastes of flowers! Love this place - we hear they will be open all year too, w/e's through the winter, so a 'real' place, for those of us lucky enough...

Από την πρώτη επαφή με τα παιδιά του σέρβις και την άφιξη του χειροποίητου υπέροχου ψωμιού με το καταπληκτικό βούτυρο, αρχίζεις να ψιλιάζεσαι ότι κάτι διαφορετικό θα συμβεί στο στομάχι σου. Το πόσο είναι εφικτό να ξετρελαθείς με ένα πιάτο.. χόρτα ή μια απλή σαλάτα με μαρούλι, πρέπει να πας μόνο εκεί για να το καταλάβεις. Τα πιάτα είναι ..μοναδικά, ισορροπημένα και σπάνιας νοστιμιάς, από τα πιο απλά, όπως τα παραπάνω μέχρι το ρόστο και τα παϊδάκια. Και φτάνουμε στη γαστριμαργική παράνοια : η Κατσικομακαρονάδα σε οδηγεί σε .. ψυχική διαταραχή ! Και ..δε σχολιάζω άλλο.. Γιατί ό,τι και να γράψω, θα την αδικήσω. Έχουμε επισκεφθεί αρκετές φορές το νησί και έχουμε φάει όμορφα πράγματα αρκετές φορές. Αυτό το μαγαζί είναι.. επίπεδα πάνω. Δε μπορείς όμως να ..καψουρεύεις το στομάχι του άλλου κατά αυτόν τον τρόπο και να κλείνεις για μέρες, μέχρι την Πέμπτη που ο επισκέπτης πρέπει να επιστρέψει στη διατροφική του μιζέρια και τη γαστρονομική του .. κατάθλιψη.. Συγχαρητήρια στον Σεφ, στον ιδιοκτήτη, (δεν ξέρω καν αν είναι το ίδιο πρόσωπο) στο νεαρό σβέλτο, ευγενικότατο, χαμογελαστό και τίμιο σέρβις, καθώς σε ενημερώνουν για τα τυχόν πιάτα εκτός καταλόγου, με το κόστος χωρίς να προλάβεις να το ζητήσεις (σπάνια συμβαίνει αυτό) και για τον όμορφο χώρο που ενορχηστρώνονται όλα τα παραπάνω. Αποκτήσαμε έναν ακόμα .. σοβαρό λόγο να...

This restaurant opened 2 months before and we are very lucky that we accidentally found that because in a year from now we should have done reservation a week before. The food was incredible with slow cooked dishes, and nice wine list . The place was minimal and beautiful and there was a great atmosphere with very kind and friendly staff. An excellent choice if you want something different than the grill restaurants in...

We had an incredible meal. The view at sunset sitting outside was beautiful. The staff was very kind and friendly. Exceptional elevated Greek food. The Horta was extremely interesting, boiled and then lightly grilled to impart a delicious smokey flavor. 😋 Briam, sausage and lamb were all delicious as well. If you have a car and the means to make a trip over here I highly recommend it.

So happy to stumble upon this place. The food was absolutely delicious! If you’re a meat eater you’ll be in heaven. And for the non-meat eater like me you’ll have so many other options. The Greek salad was by far the best I’ve had in Greece! The service, atmosphere and views were all great. Also we had our two toddlers and it was super kid friendly!

We had an incredible meal. The view at sunset sitting outside was beautiful. The staff was very kind and friendly. Exceptional elevated Greek food. So happy to stumble upon this place. The food was absolutely delicious! If you’re a meat eater you’ll be in heaven. And for the non-meat eater like me you’ll have so many other options. The Greek salad was by far the best I’ve had in Greece! The service, atmosphere and views were all great. Also we had our two toddlers and it was super kid friendly!
