Kalliopi — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

Very good location and nice people but our experience wasn't great. Ok so we arrived late one afternoon and we were the only people there. The owner seemed to be relaxing with friends inside but didn't object to us staying. We were two people and ordered salad, lamb chops and fries. The salad was ok the lamb chops and fries were the worst we' ve had on the island. They were old and obviously reheated. I can understand it was their wind down time but it shows lack of respect for the client and the owner's work and professionalism. Had they said they could only offer something simple and quick we would have been ok. But sadly they chose to be "clever". Also flies buzzing around the table and no one around after they brought the food so we had to go look for them to pay. We have been coming to Naxos for many years, always trying new places and our experience has been from good to very good and some times excellent. This place is the only that truly disappointed. I would give less than 1 star if rating...

Very quiet, family run, restaurant in the middle of the mountains. Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and family cooked meal.

Had the local sausages which were delicious, lamb chops, greek salad and local wine. Everything tasted great!

May 20 2025- An incredible place... with stunning scenery and delicious homemade food!!!! All food from their own production. Traditional reasonably priced meals- huge quantities in their portions- a taste of Greek culture. A family business - friendly and hospitable that makes you feel at home!!!! Beautiful all year round.
