Beautiful setting, but no fairytale ending.
After sitting unattended for quite a while, I had to get up and find a server just to place my order. I chose the “Prince Charming” mocktail, which turned out to be nothing more than sickeningly sweet syrup in a glass — and that’s saying something coming from an American. When I asked for help, the staff offered a splash of lime juice and tonic water, but it didn’t fix it. I asked if I could exchange it for something else, but they refused, citing a policy that only allows returns if an item doesn’t meet their quality standards. Well… if that drink met their standards, I can’t say they’re very high.
The pistachio cheesecake looked lovely, but like everything else here, it was more about appearance than taste — the crust was bland and the flavor forgettable. It’s clear they’ve poured their energy into aesthetics, but not into hiring skilled mixologists or chefs who can bring the magic full circle.
In the end, the staff seemed more concerned with defending the drink than making the experience right. Not exactly the fairy godmother vibe I was hoping for. I paid for a drink I couldn’t finish and left more frustrated...
Read moreThe Fairytale theme is partially gone, there used to be a white rabbit in the entrance which was the main mascot and now they removed it for some mundane minimalistic pink color, and to top it off they also removed the fairytale themed classical music for some weird pop type music that doesn't fit the theme of what the establishment used to advertise that breaks my ear drums and makes me lament the good times, the menu book also got replaced, there used to be fairytale theme with captivating stories and beautiful pictures and now it has been corrupted to be a shadow of it's former self again it can be observed the minimalistic pink bland aesthetic with removed essensial details that ruins the uniqueness of what used to be the old fairytale, a lot of luscious dishes also sadly got removed from the menu, i don't know if that shows lack of profits for them to remove such dishes but it was saddening to say the least, i am truly disheartened to the state this once beatiful place has been reduced to and hopefully one day it's going to be...
Read moreThere were a lot of people waiting outside to get in, so we expected this to be something out of the ordinary. And it certainly is...the decoration and the interior is very fairytale like, it’s like stepping inside a different realm. We liked it. But that’s pretty much it...honestly it’s not very outstanding in terms of the taste. We had a “death by chocolate”, an “Oreo&cookie fudge brownie” and a Belgian waffle. 3 different cakes with 3 different opinions. One of us liked his option (death by chocolate), the other two of us were not impressed. Everything is drowned in chocolate sirup, Nutella or chocolate sauce...literally everything ! We also had a whine and coffee, both very tasty. I would recommend coming for a coffee, to sit and enjoy the interior. But don’t waste your money on the cakes, I think it’s not worth...
