Pizza Tartufo — Restaurant in Municipality of Nea Propontida

This is the perfect example of having an outstanding product but missing out on basic hospitality rules. We probably made the mistake to sit inside. We had a wild mix of music from Spanish Chansons, US chansons from the 60s and Samba, etc . There was someone taking social media photos for the restaurant with an annoyingly bright light that she waved around which was very unpleasant. If the attention to the customer would have been as much as the care for the virtual presence... We ordered two pizzas, when the waitress came with two pizzas in her hand and put one on the table we assumed the other one was for us too. But she turned around and let us two with just one having a pizza and the other one wait for his order. I was literally in no restaurant before, where the food is not brought to the table at the same time. I know this is not Italy but since they go big on their Italian pizza I asked for Olio Picante. Little did I know that I was gonna charged for it. I mean I dont mind the extra charge but to charge olio picante for a pizza is a sacrilege. However, after the owners response, I now understand that people took advantage of the free add on.

Wonderful restaurant!!!! Every time we visit our family here we always go to this restaurant and have an excellent experience every single time! I recommend to make a reservation so you don’t have to wait too much and since we usually go with the whole family. I suggest you to try the cesar salad, the pasta con pollo, the bbq pancetta pizza make sure to add chicken and then order the dip honey mustard to dip your pizza crust it’s delicious. Their homemade lemonade is a must try too, it’s not too tangy and quite sweet! The team is always super friendly and even though it’s almost always full they still take their time with the tables and make sure everything is fine, and they keep their smile:) This year we went with the family and our server,Anna made sure everyone was happy and enjoying the food, today we just went for some takeaway and it was full in the restaurant but they made sure to have the food ready for us to pick up after only 30 minutes and they were all really friendly.
