Sueño — Restaurant in Municipality of Nea Propontida

We've been coming to this beach bar for years as we live nearby and always enjoyed the service and the clear sea. This year however the service has gotten worse and this new trend-habit the staff have of reserving sunbeds for others by leaving a plain towel on is getting really on people's nerves.

With this year's pandemic the new safety regulations do not allow for people to place sunbeds very close to the ones from the nearby umbrellas and that's causing problem when both people that want to sit down need shade. The only ones that are permitted to be moved are the ones on the far side. We wanted to sit down in one of them today, as we are a bit sensitive with the extremely hot sunlight, but they were reserved for 'someone' and we got a very apathetic and rude reply by a high member of staff. We decided to leave and not spend not even a penny there.

The management and the staff of the business should not favour and treat differently their customers. All customers should be treated the same and with the best service. You have no right to tell me not to sit somewhere because 'someone' wants to sit there and keep it reserved for hours, especially when I've been coming to you for over 6 years and always spend money on you, even buying your overly priced food and treat me...

I wanted to spend time with my family by the sea, chose a deck chair from the edge to accommodate for two adults, and the children pitched a tent nearby (where there are no more deck chairs), after that we were faced with rudeness from the service staff and the manager: they started kicking us out without explaining the reason and did not even fulfill the order that was made, apparently the manager has some kind of hostility towards Ukrainians and women in general. When I asked to explain the reason why I was being kicked out, I received the answer: I want it that way and that's all!! Is this normal at all? very rude staff. we were in the company of a pregnant woman and several children, and they did not allow us to open an extra umbrella. after we moved the sunbeds under the shade of the umbrella from the restaurant, a waiter came to scold us that the sunbeds could not be further away, but should be under the umbrella. we asked them to make an exception for the pregnant woman, but they didn't even think about it, they threatened us...
