Diamond Beach Club Moudania — Restaurant in Municipality of Nea Propontida

I am very disappointed with today's service. Namely, I've been coming to Nea Modania for three years now and I've been your customer almost 80% of the time. I liked both the offer and the service. however, today we spent an hour trying to order food from our waitress (the girl with black hair) and three times we asked the other waitress to call her (the girl with the cap who served on the far left). after the third call and an hour of waiting, we finally managed to order a sandwich and a burger. after half an hour only the burger arrived. since our waitress persistently did not come, we again asked the other one to call her and pointed out that we had not yet received the order in its entirety. after half an hour, my sandwich finally arrived, which would mean that I waited almost 2 hours to eat, and I'm also pregnant! when we decided to pay, we called another waitress again because ours did not appear, who called twice to come. after waiting for more than 20 minutes, we decided to leave. two guys followed us to say how we tricked into paying, to which we replied that we hadn't forgotten but that no one showed up for 20 minutes. we asked to speak with the manager, who was really kind and offered us a salad and a drink, even if we didn't pay, which of course we refused because we were waiting to pay the whole time, but we didn't have anyone. we are very disappointed and if you want to maintain the good impression we had for 3 years and because of which we spent almost all of our vacations using your services, I really think you should take care of the employees, especially the black-haired waitress who was in charge of the middle section today. the girl with the cap and the manager...

Really good service from the team of waiters, who all seem to speak English (thankfully as i don't know any Greek). Deep, spongy, comfortable beds look clean, and fixed parasols for every two beds (so the shadow moves), with a small table box between beds. Complimentary crisps or popcorn brought with every beer I ordered. I didn't order food but the plates I saw being carried out to others looked substantial. Music playing all the time, not a bad selection. First day was mellow chill-out lounge tunes. Today was 80's & 90s soul covers and remixes but then it went into 80s & 90s rock music remixed with a beat. It was just about tolerable by an older ex-clubber. Sea here is relatively clear and stays about 1m deep for a reasonable distance out. Lots of families with young kids using it, particularly taking the front row of beds, so they can watch them in the water. Also a mixed bag of couples across all age ranges and young people groups. I stayed to sunbathe during the day. I don't know what it's like in the evening. Life guard is on duty, and public portaloo's were 100m away. I visited mid June and it was only, up to about, 50% full, so not too busy. Apparently the whole of Nea Moudania gets very busy once the Greeks take their summer holidays. I'll be back there to sunbathe before my holiday is over, as its so easy to Lounge there, all basic needs being met. Oh, and the road is right next to the beach, but the parking gets busy and...

Worst Service & Rude Management – Avoid at All Costs! We had a truly awful experience at Diamond Beach Club in Nea Moudania. We arrived early in the morning and secured sunbeds in the first and second row. We met their minimum consumption by ordering drinks and coffees. Later, we went to their own restaurant for a quick lunch — we were gone for about 20 minutes.

When we came back, our belongings had been removed without our permission and our sunbeds were given to someone else. We were left standing in the heat with small children, no sunbeds, and no idea where our things were (they had taken them to the bar).

When we spoke to the manager, his “explanation” was that people were waiting for sunbeds and 20 minutes was too long to be away — even though we were eating in their restaurant! His tone was extremely rude, with zero apology or attempt to make things right.

We have never been treated this way anywhere. This place clearly values squeezing in more customers over basic respect and service. Worst beach experience ever – will never return and do...
