Romeos cafe Taverna — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

Let me start with the hospitality.. Dimitri and his wife who are the owner of this place are very friendly. Whenever we go, Dimitri is making the explanation for the foods for that day very lean and on-target. And the foods… we saw lots of comments and feedbacks for all the restaurants in Corfu, but this place is something else. Maybe this comment can be a bit cliche but I am serious.. Their food recipes are unique and even though some foods are very classical for us from our motherland, we found these foods (e.g: imam -not fainted one-, caciki) very luscious.. Not only these of course but sea foods like shrimp a la chief was magnificent! Their place filled with lots of historical and memorial things for them. Anyway, if you wanna try something else in Corfu with real Greek cuisine history then this place is the one that you must give a chance.. These are the people and the foods which we should give respect and real value in the chaos of touristic restaurant chains. Sincere thanks for making our several nights memorable. This place is one of a kind,1st time here with freinds, the owner was amazing funny,kind very welcoming amazing guy He's wife who the cook is a amazing chef the foood is outstanding tasty delicious I had meatballs for starters and chicken wings beautiful flavours meatballs was outstanding full of flavours The lamb romeos was also fabulous 👌 with rice lamb falls apart like butter and the homemade cheese cake was also out of the world the chicken Mediterranean with mash potatoes was also fantastic If you go to this little place u will enjoy everything about it there caring and couldn't do enough for you I give this place more than 5 stars this is deserves 10 stars From start to finish our service was outstanding the warmest welcoming into there restaurant with laughs and jokes I could not thank the owner and he's wife enough for the food service and there entertainment People please go and try amazing...

This place is unreal. We are actually still eating at the restaurant now as we speak and we are enjoying our experience so much that we needed to review it immediately. The service is unmatched - they are beyond friendly. Our friend who is dining with us had a few to many negronis last night, and they have literally nursed her back to health with the most out of this world lemon ice-cream, Coca-Cola and pain killers. She even had a nap. The food is the best food we’ve had in Greece, you would be crazy not to dine at Romeo’s. The only problem was that the food was so good that we inhaled it in a very un-classy fashion because we were so overwhelmed with how delicious everything was.
