Absolutely amazing. Visiting my sister in Agious Georgious and she said, we're going to go up to this lovely little place we know up in Pagi run by Jimmy and Eleni.
So after we parked up a little way away and strolled through this 'Georgious' village we arrived at Spiros. Immediately made very welcome and Jimmy soon arrived back after we saw him drive off 5 mins previous :P we got the drinks sorted and then the starters. We knew there would be a little wait for the mains as they're cooked fresh to order, so scoffed the starters and settled in.
While we were waiting I then checked to see if there were any geocaches nearby. Yep. 7 metres away apparently. Jimmy knows all about it and I found it within seconds :D
The kids 'quick' food was brought out quickly to keep them happy and the drinks kept flowing. The food was SOOOOOO worth the expected wait. Then there was ice cream and gifts :) Jimmy was keen to show us the actually movie clips, but as a UK driver I was keen to leave before dark as driving on the wrong side of the road in Greece is bad enough in daylight :D :D :D
We left my sister in the company of Jimmy and Eleni and headed back north where I could get on the Mythos. Shame I can only give 5/5, so worth 6/5 if not lots more xxx
Thanks for a great...
Read moreI do not have enough words to describe the experience at this lovely restaurant. In a word of consumerism and fast food, you feel the difference when you come to Pagi, where you discover a uniquely beautiful slow living village and a lovely place to eat with amazing food and an impressive history behind. Everything was so perfect at Spiros. The prices are more than acceptable, the owner is extremely nice, he brought us a few catalogs to read about the history of the village, the animals, the flowers from Corfu and also about the James Bond movie that was filmed there. The food, needless to say, was so delicious. For us, it was the best place in Corfu where we ate. You have to try the greek cuisine and the desserts (especially Portokalopita). You can feel the love and the passion that they put into making the food. They try their best to please the customers, they gave us extra fresh fruits (which were good). If you want to have an unforgetable, genuine memory while interacting with the real corfiot world, this is the place to be. Thanks a lot for everything...

I'm a Bond fan and wanted to go check it out, but did wonder if the 1 hour journey from where I was staying was going to be worth it.
It totally was!
The food is amazing. I had the greek medditeranian pie (fantastic), my wife the village sausage (the best we've tried on any Greek island) and the orange pie is unbelievably good and came with fresh fruit and 3 types of ice cream that will blow your socks off.
We also had our 2 kids with us and Jimmy and Eleni took them inside away from any wasps and gave them a balloon each, melon and an ice cream for free! Jimmy also spent his time making sure that they were totally wasp free.
They went above and beyond and really made us feel like we had found the real Greece.
The key chain and raisins were also massively appreciated.
Make sure you go there even if you're...
