We had the most wonderful evening at Taverna Evdokia! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. The staff greeted us with the warmest smiles and provided exceptional, friendly service throughout our entire meal. The atmosphere is perfectly traditional and charming, exactly what you hope to find in a genuine Greek taverna. It's a beautiful and relaxing place to enjoy a fantastic meal. And the food... simply outstanding! Every single dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavour and was clearly made with care and the freshest ingredients. The grilled meat was cooked to perfection, the salads were crisp, and the classic homemade appetisers were absolutely delicious. It was a true taste of traditional, home-style Greek cooking at its very best. We cannot recommend Taverna Evdokia enough. If you are looking for exceptional food, a welcoming atmosphere, and staff that truly cares about your experience, this is the place to go. An easy five stars – we are already looking forward to...
Read moreWe got to the Taverna Evdokia as a part of recommendations on our electric bike tour (by Fat Bikes Corfu) and must admit this is really the best place to stop and have a meal! The food choice is great, the prices are reasonable, the portions are great size! With the choice of traditional Greek and Corfu dishes there is plenty of choice for vegans, vegetarians and all that love to eat. Staff speaks good english, also menu is translated into English, so no problem with communication at all. We tried traditional fish in red sauce dish, vegetables, baked cheese and sauce, with a home made olive oil and bread served for us it was an amazing feast! The view from the place overlooks the ancient town and all the tables are in a shade that really made the experience feel relaxing and allowed us to gain some strength for a way back. We loved the food, the owners are very friendly, the waiting time was short and it was totally worth every penny! You can also pay by...
Read moreThis is one the best of restaurants in the region if not the best. First off, their outdoor dining area has a great view of the village, mountains, and Mt. Pantokrator in the distance. Second, the service was exceptional with a friendly and warm welcoming staff. Vasilios was very friendly, accommodating, and explained everything well in English. He even chatted with us a bit and told us of his story. Lastly, the homemade food was very tasty and exceptionally delicious! We ordered the Manouri cheese with kumquats and honey (deliciously sweet) for starters, Evdokia's salad, mousaka, and their homemade bread. It was all too delicious that we forgot to take pictures of our food. Our only regret is that we won't be here too often to try the rest of the menu. Folks, don't miss this gem of a place if you're stopping in Old Perithia....
