Our visit to "Taverna Yiannis" in Nisaki was magical. Ideal location with a outstanding beach that is the paradise we all dream of in Corfu. This taverna made us feel completely at home, with the exceptional staff.

From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with open arms. The hospitality was amazing, starting with the unforgettable Giorgio (the King of Nisaki) who greeted us warmly, Yiannis, Adonis, Aris, Ari, along with the entire team, who ensured our stay was perfect. We felt like part of the family, and their genuine care and attention to detail were evident in every interaction.

The food was spectacular. Fresh fish, often caught by Yiannis himself, was skillfully prepared by the talented Chef Aris and his kitchen team. Each dish was a testament to their culinary expertise and passion for quality. Complemented by wonderful drinks and cocktails of Giorgio and Adonis, our meals were a highlight of our stay.

The special place "Taverna Yiannis" made our days truly unforgettable and it will stay in our hearts forever.

Thank you Taverna Yiannis, for an experience that was a dream. We promise to return soon and from now on, we are Nisakins and never forget the phrase: "............. ...... Po Po"

🌟 A Hidden Gem on the Corfu Coast – A Must-Visit! 🌟

We stumbled upon this charming family-run taverna right on the beachfront and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip to Corfu! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like friends by the warm and friendly staff – you can really feel the love and care that goes into this place.

The views are absolutely breathtaking with waves gently lapping just meters from your table. It’s the kind of setting that makes you want to linger long after your meal is done.

Now, the food… just wow. The fresh fish is a must – caught that very morning and grilled to perfection. We had only dishes from the specials board on every visit and everything melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Everything is traditional, with that unmistakable flavor that only a Greek yiayia (grandmother) could achieve in the kitchen.

The atmosphere is relaxed, authentic, and unpretentious – just honest, soulful Greek hospitality at its best. Whether you’re there for a lazy lunch or a romantic dinner, it’s an unforgettable experience.

We’ll be talking about this place for years to come. If you’re in Corfu, don’t miss it – this is the kind of spot that makes you fall in love with Greece...

We had a villa near this amazing Taverna for a week, so it was our "local" and It is impossible to say just how lucky we were. We've eaten in many Corfu restaurants, but this is our favourite, by a long way.The owner, Yiannis, and all the staff were incredible and were so kind and helpful. Beyond words! The mackerel is the best I have ever had and i could eat their sea bass all day long. Probably not surprising when the wonderful owner has caught their fish that morning. Other members of the group prefer their meat and the rib steak was done to perfection. All the food was completely delicious. The setting is idyllic (achingly beautiful and peaceful). There was nothing better than taking their utterly delicious coffee to a table at the water's edge and just listening to the lapping waves. We will go back to stay in this part of Corfu and Yiannis Taverna has a lot to do with that. I should also mention that the little cats are adorable, well cared for and very well behaved, with the odd misdemeanour by one of the kittens. Thank you so much for everything you did. You are...
