The response to this post pretty much sums up the level of professionalism used to run a business, a customer lets you know they don’t like your product/service and you get called by the owner: - Damaged - my life has no meaning - pathological liar and mythomaniac All because i didn’t like his precious disgusting cocktail - bless! The hospitality industry is tough, but if you can’t take constructive feedback and you treat your customers like this, it’s going to spit you up and throw you back out. I’ve been in the industry 5 years and I don’t make cocktails like that or treat my customers like that. You clearly still have a lot to learn… In terms of alcohol quantities and cocktails tasting different when they ‘are sat there’ this tasted awful one second after it was made and 15 mins after it was made. Although that ‘75 euros’ was well spent in the end on a beautiful meal and cocktail somewhere else where the owner doesn’t bully the customer for speaking their opinion. Good luck in the business world if this is how you treat customers, I mean, I can clearly see you don’t live by ‘customers always right’ based on your other one star reviews… Came here today to try it, all was going ok apart from the sunbeds being covered by the shade most of the afternoon because of a big tree. Decided to try a cocktail after seeing them look good on Instagram and it came out like fizzy squash. Awful presentation and after having some really nice cocktails in Paxos this was the worst I have had. I asked if I could send it back because it wasn’t very nice and some burly guy came out with an attitude (probably the same one other people complain about) He said ‘he made the cocktails and he knows they taste nice’ I replied very calmly but I don’t like it so please can I send it back, baring in mind I’m female alone and he starts arguing with me about it. I think his ego was bruised to be honest. I calmly and quietly said, I didn’t like it but he continued to keep going (think he was looking for an argument clearly) he said I couldn’t have it refunded as he made it and believes it’s a good cocktail and therefore I must pay for it. I asked him ‘do you not abide from the rules of ‘customer is always right’ and he said ‘NO I do not, get out of MY bar and never come back here’ hahahaha. So i calmly leave the bar and he follows me out shouting ‘good riddance’ - it was almost laughable how bad it was. Totally unacceptable to treat customers this way, especially a young female and be so aggressive. If you want to spend your money with a nice small Greek family business from the island - don’t go here and give him your money - he clearly has no idea how to treat customers or values their opinion. A wannabe Mykonos resort but the product or service doesn’t match…

This is more of a suggestion than a review. Currently the sunbeds are arranged in a traditional grid pattern approx 40mx50m (estimate informed by cursory eyeballing) with two sunbeds sharing a small table in a 4m2 separated by 1m on the x axis and 2m on the y axis. This is evidently a traditional and timeless layout, however by applying the fractal equation D = log N/log S to current dimensions it would be quite simple to reimagine a layout artistically representing (without being mathematically accurate of course) the Mandelbrot set, which would make for interesting satellite images of the beach bar. Note: alternatively, using similar mathematical principles a Menger Sponge layout could be achieved, which would be less labour intensive for staff to arrange. (Though less visually spectacular)

Okay this is kind of a peculiar, Polynesian beach bar which one could argue doesn't fit well into a Greek Island, but it's really well executed. I'm not going to comment on the sunbeds, we only had a light lunch after an afternoon swim. OMG, those pork tacos (Tacos al Pastor) were simply amazing! You must try them if you visit this place. We also had a tuna poke bowl which was also flavoursome and very refreshing. Definitely recommend for a light lunch.

Unfortunately, a nice beach and some boho umbrellas are not enough for a place to be of high quality.

We visited the place after a phone booking. I think several sunbeds were not reserved and ours was on the edge of the beach which is ok.

Generally the atmosphere of the place was snobby and unfriendly which proved to be true as I will elaborate on below.

Since the management wants to make money they should invest in real professionals and show more respect to the people who keep this place alive.

The incident: After having coffee , juice, a club sandwich from the polite young man on the beach I headed to the young man on the beach to order a cocktail and an amaretto with lemon juice.

The polite young man didn't know if there was amaretto in the shop and together we headed to the bar to ask.

There we met a gentleman with a striped shirt (the "manager or the owner" I presume) who was sitting next to the bar. The young man asked if there was amaretto, in front of me and the manager replied "What are these bu@@it they are asking for? Tell them we don't have such bu@@it (m@kies).Who did ask that to you, how old is he?" in an ironic way. Not being aware that I asked for the drink I immediately replied to the manager I am 32...he was surprised cause he didn't even think that the person asked the drink was me standing next to him. He says, "We only have hazelnut liqueur. The scene was witnessed by the reception girl who noticed the unfortunate incident.

Dear manager/owner: amaretto is one of the world's most basic and standard drinks. If u don't have it please consider adding it to your bar.

In fact: too much for nothing. Generally, the place thinks a snobbish attitude is good for maintaining a standard but thats definitely not the case. I'd say they need to fix the customer approach and be professional. Of course we didn't order anything more and we left after a while. At the moment of payment we were asked if we were from abroad, as if being polite has anything to do with where do you come from.

This place was the one and only unfortunate event we had on the island. After asking locals they said we should stay away..

In conclusion: Lots of attitude for no reason, bad professionals who think that if you speak another language you are a good tourist and good client. We feel sorry because we have been experiencing the beach for years before this place existed and unfortunately it has become...

This is a unique beach bar in paxos, hawaii themed and they’ve taken care to make it a bit special. Anastasia is the most charming hostess, smiling and making everyone feel great even though we spotted her a few minutes later being consoled when she was obviously feeling a bit low. We would never have known, given how warmly she welcomed us and helped us change our sunbeds. She and the servers are the main reason we loved this place. Good cocktails as well.

I just could not give it 5⭐️ as it feels like they’re trying to squeeze you a bit and some things don’t make sense. Our bill was 110€+ as we stayed a whole day but the orange juice was only half a glass since we took it without ice. I mean like come on guys, you don’t have to count every cent when we’re clearly giving you good business through the day. You are also not allowed to order a plate of fries on the sunbeds, but if you order a burger then that will be delivered to the sunbeds along with fries on the side… haha. Portions generally very small for the prices, the burger patty was 1/3rd of the bun.

But overall still worth it for the vibes, Anastasia...
