I recently stayed here with friends and family. All in all it was really positive, but we did have a few mixed feelings during the course of our stay. I've created a little pro's and con's list below.
Pros: Location - We loved the fact that it was just outside town (1.5km). So an easy walk into town but it also meant that our stay was quiet and undisturbed. "Private Beach" - There is a little walk way on the property, down to the ocean. This was great. While there was not a beach as such, there was space to tan and you could easily access the water and go for a swim. Apartment - The apartment was clean and spacious enough for our requirements and the length of our stay. Daily cleaning service - This was great. Daily service which cleaned the apartment and did the dishes.
Cons: Empty Apartment - As a self catering apartment, I exepct to at least have sugar / salt available. But there was nothing. It was totally bare. So we had to buy everything for our meals and as a result end up leaving most of it in the apartment when we left. You're not going to fly home with a bag of sugar... Description - The description of the apartment when we booked listed several items available for rent and also mentioned that the host would help organise rentals for ATV's, etc. Very little of this was true. The host said she could rent us her car, but then didn't mention a price, so we left it. Especially after enquiring about ATV, scooter, boat, etc rental (all of which we had been told they could help with) only to be told once we'd arrived that we should just walk into town and visit each rental shop to get the best price. This is not "help"... The plug in the main bathroom basin seems to have been fixed in the open position. As a result, you could not fill the basin with water. Friendliness - In general, the host seemed unfriendly. She wasn't rude as such. But was not friendly either.
If I had to go back, I'd probably...

From its sun-drenched position almost overhanging the Ionian sea to the care that has gone into fitting out the villa, it has everything you need. A super spacious fridge/freezer, pretty sea facing bedroom, effective air con, a stunning modern bathroom with luxurious waterfall shower and a brilliant outdoor kitchen.
Great swimming and snorkelling to be had from the steps into the sea, this 'beach' is shared with other villas but it was never crowded, there was always a spare sunbed.
One of the best things was lying in the super comfortable, super king-sized bed at night with the doors wide open, drifting off to the sound of the waves, safe from mosquitos, thanks to the very effective insect screens.

Efficient and discreet maid service daily is another luxury, as are the beach towels provided for guests and the beautiful, well-tended gardens, choc full of scented herbs. To top it all, Antonia is super-helpful and welcoming, we couldn’t fault anything at all and can’t...

An added bonus was the sun terrace with easy access to the sea for great swimming in the lovely sea. Antonio was so helpful with her knowledge ,recommendations and organisation with the car hire.
The villa was spacious and the ac was very welcome with amazing views. Just one little thing was although the windows had shutters to block out the light, the panel in the door let in the light ( if anyone was sleeping on the sofa bed this would apply )
I would highly recommend the accommodation and Paxos is a beautiful island
Thank you for a fantastic time Wish I had that...
