Amazing location, first-time visiting despite coming to the island on family holidays over 30 years ago.
The view is fantastic, due to the geography of the island it's the only place to really sit and eat/drink while watching the sunset. It was incredibly windy, obviously not the restaurant's fault so not a criticism, just be aware that it is on the windward side of the island so might be calm in Lakka/Loggos/Gaios but quite different up there. They did offer my wife a blanket which was a kind gesture.
Unfortunately though I do have to say the main issue with this place is they need to tone it down a bit. It's like they're aiming for a Michelin star and while the food is lovely, it feels totally unnecessary and misplaced, over presented, few choices, each dish way more complex than it needs to be.
Offering the usual Paxos/Greek taverna style food would be far more appropriate and welcome. The prices aren't mad, but if I wanted this the type of food on offer here I'd take out a bank loan and go to Mykonos or one of the other totally ruined, extremely expensive, pretentious Greek islands. Paxos is largely still just as it was decades ago, and most restaurants and tavernas reflect this, which is pleasing to see in 2025. Sadly Erimitis largely doesn't, which is unfortunate to say as they're otherwise lovely people, service is great, and the location...

From the start, the staff were cold, unfriendly, and unwelcoming, treating us more like an inconvenience than valued guests. Simple requests were ignored or met with attitude, and there was no sense of hospitality or effort to make us feel comfortable.
The biggest issue was the outrageously slow service. It took over 4 hours to get through a basic dinner. The dishes came out at a snail’s pace, with huge gaps between courses, and no explanation or apology from the staff. It felt like the kitchen wasn’t even trying—either severely understaffed or simply lazy. By the time our main course arrived, we had completely lost our appetite.
For a restaurant that markets itself as a high-end sunset destination, this was completely unacceptable. A beautiful view cannot make up for rude staff, poor management, and an incompetent kitchen. There are many better and friendlier places to eat in Paxos without wasting your entire evening and leaving frustrated.
I would not recommend Erimitis to anyone unless major changes are made to how they treat their guests and run...
Read moreOk I will start with the good elements first. The view AMAZING!! Service very good! Bar cocktails very good! Now let’s start with the food 😂 bellow average!!!! The only thing we enjoyed was the wines and bread which they buy frozen and the bake them there!!!! The salads and entrees were super ordinary no taste or super salty!!! Now the main course 😂😂😂😂😂 literally a joke!!!! We had risotto truffle which was not bad lacking taste needs a bit more work… Seabass fillet fricasse Which was overcooked and potatoes under cooked (still crunchy) and was lacking flavour. Aromatic Roast Chicken 😂😂😂😂 now they should be embarrassed serving this dish which it was boiled or sous vide not roasted what’s so ever with a 6 year old kid presentation…: And last I had the ribeye steak which was missing the bone the bearnaise sauce and no veggies and no flavour and was around 300gr give or take… just an unidentified piece of meat on a plate for 37€ I was at least expecting some sort of greens on the plate. cooking medium rare was on point. Overall you can go there for the drinks and sunset I don’t recommend the food. Which again it was below average!!!! A big thank you to Mariana our waitress she was...
