This is a fabulous and serious restaurant that would be booked out for weeks if it were in London, Paris, or Athens. Beautiful setting in the hills between Loggos & Gaios on the sublime and unspoilt island of Paxos. Funky modern design with a nod to traditional and a great relaxed but attentive vibe. Views from the lovely terrace through the olive grove to the sea. The menu is Greek with a modern twist. I had a “deconstructed moussaka with ox cheek” which was inventive and delicious and my wife had an expertly seasoned and perfectly cooked sea bass. Superb reasonably priced and varied choice of wines. In a week eating out in carefully selected restaurants ( researching in advance through numerous sources, online and books as well as personal recommendations) this was by far the best. One of the nicest places you could go eat at. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this restaurant will not fail to leave you full and satisfied. They have a wide selection of delicious dishes for any hour of the day. My family and I would go for breakfast every single day of our stay in Paxoi and we were never disappointed with the meals nor the service. Everything was impeccable and the staff are the kindest people you’ll meet. If I could, I would recommend trying everything more than once for both breakfast and dinner. But, knowing that not everyone can come to the same place over and over, I would have to recommend the eggs benedict (in the first photo) for breakfast, and the burger for the evening. We went there feeling very excited about the restaurant as we had read great reviews, but it was a huge disappointment in terms of service and the atmosphere. 1 star for the burger, which was actually good, and another star for the great cocktail. The place was disorganised, a super loud party of 10 people joined a super small table and starting screaming which totally ruined the atmosphere of a quite expensive dinner. Two more other customers left disappointed like us since the place was totally ruined by this super loud and disrespectful group of people. The restaurant staff actually encouraged and engaged with them without asking them to behave properly, which totally aggravated us.
