Nestled in the residential coziness of Melissia, Tailandi is not your typical Thai joint. It's a time machine to a 70’s Thai diner, minus the bell-bottoms. With its hipster-meets-vintage decor, it's Instagram's dream date. The place dances to the rhythm of Thai Pop and electronic beats, creating a vibe that's both retro and refreshing. There are also tables outside on the sidewalk.
Staff: Polite, friendly, and attentive
Menu Highs and Lows:
Pad Thai: Excellent. Phat Grapao Muu: A must-try! Khai Jiao: This Thai omelet with crispy duck, jasmine rice and sriracha is also very good Fried Shrimps & Bao Buns: Very good The Missteps: Drunken Noodles and Papaya Salad Cocktails: Light on the alcohol but heavy on the taste.
Wallet Watch: Prices are reasonable, though some dishes are on a diet portion-wise.
Pro Tips:
Parking is easy (a rare luxury in the area). Some dishes are on the smaller side. Go for a late Sunday afternoon dinner.

It offers a delightful experience that's more than just the sum of its ingredients – it's a combination of décor, ambiance, service, and fair pricing that leaves you with a smile. Highly...

Mostly it reminded me of a typical fast food Asian chain without much thought or effort put into delivering actual flavor.
The Bao buns had extremely dry and tough pieces of duck which were totally smothered in a hoisin mayonnaise (presumably to hide the dryness of the duck).
The chicken wings were very well cooked but sadly only tasted of salt and msg in the breading. There was a bit of soy sauce in the bowl which made for a pretty weird dip.
The Pad Thai resembled store bought generic stir-fry noodles, not really tasting of anything close to a traditional Pad Thai.
Finally the Drunken Noodles literally tasted of oil and chili and nothing else, I had to drown them in soy sauce to get them to taste like….something.
I actually feel bad writing this review, because I would have loved for this place to serve actual Thai food, and the staff were incredibly kind when we shared our thoughts with them - but given the prices on the menu, and what you get for it, it’s simply not worth it.
The restaurant refused to charge us after the meal, so, again nothing bad to say about the service - they care about...
