Ampelos — Restaurant in Municipality of Pylaia - Chortiatis

I loved this place! It is nothing fancy but so authentic and so tasty! It is located in the region "Constantinopolitika", 10-15 min of driving from the center of the city. Nevertheless, even in the evening of a weekday there are quite a few companies dining there. First of all, I've tried the best white wine in my life! So refreshing and flower-ish! The "choriatiki" (=village) salad (tomatoes, cucumbers, olives and feta cheese) was made of so pure and delicious products! The "tigania" (pork meat cooked on pan) was superb. Food; honestly I am Greek and I think it needs talent to have such bad food. The only thing I liked was the Kotsi, the rest of meat, the bougiourdi and salads were not good.

Service; I looked forward to the dessert so much, even they waiter heard how much I was looking forward and eventually, he only brought 11 out of 12 telling me in from of everyone “you looked forward to the desert but I didn’t count you in and I counted 11, but I will bring one more” so he served the rest (men included) and not me. The service wasn't just bad, it was simply terrible. We read the reviews and decided to eat there. One of the biggest mistakes we've ever done. Not only was their behaviour barbaric ( the waiter dropped a knife on one of the girls' dress!) ,but also their food was undeniably yesterday's plates reheated and cooked in a month's old oil. Very very very bad quality. Thank you very much for the unique experience. P.s. Two of our friends ended up throwing up two hours...
