Our hotel recommended the beach, and this particular restaurant, and so glad for the advice. Very friendly, inexpensive beach, and an excellent restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you want. Beach is clean, water clear, amd it's well over a two hour walk from one end to the other (some pebbles in parts, so footwear makes it easier, but mostly sandy). Food and drinks service to you sun lounge and umbrella. We ate in the restaurant most days for lunch, if you ask around mid morning you can reserve a beachside table which are under a cover of mature pine trees, A gentle breeze is cooling. Food is cooked on an open kitchen. The people here have been doing it for years so they are definitely doing something right. We sampled most dishs on the menu, and enjoyed every one, especially the small fried shrimp, fava, salads, grilled prawns (eat them whole, head and all!), but the grilled stuffed vegetables and meat balls are fantastic. Honestly we enjoyed every single meal. Inexpensive local wine by the half, or litre carafe. Ask for ice on the side. We will definitely...

We ordered pork souvlaki, which was raw... We had to chew it like a chewing gum, and then left it there... The waitress when asked what we didn't like, said that it has to be so... The lasagne-like food (I didn't remember the Greek name) wasn't fresh. So I wouldn't recommend it at all. It was a complete disappointment. We left the place hungry. The one star is more than what this place deserves, it's...
Read moreFirst of all, this is by far the best beach on the island. The water is shallow for a while and it gradually descends, and the bottom is entirely sand, no rocks like most other beaches. The sunbeds here are FREE, and there's waiters that stop by so you can order food and drinks straight to your sunbed!
If you came here for a relaxing day at the beach, I recommend spending even a whole day here. There's a restaurant/bar/cafe and a playground if you come with children! The staff was so friendly and accommodating and I always take the 1-hour trip to this place, despite living on the...
