Can’t recommend this wonderful, family run taverna more! Having first visited a few years ago when we stayed in Episkopi, we made a special trip this year to revisit. Like all the best Greek tavernas, they’re not trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to food, but of course the fresh, traditional food is exceptional. What we loved though was the spacious garden area the kids could play in, the warm and welcoming service (even when our kids got a little, ahem, over enthusiastic…!) and the charming experience of visiting a truly local, family run business, that really gives a taste of Greek village life off the well-trodden tourist trail. I’m not entirely sure what’s in the stuffed mushrooms but they have a marinated flavor and crumbly cheese, possibly feta, artichokes, and sun-dried tomatoes. Husband says the Carbonara is good. It has thick linguini noodles and thin sliced ham, mushrooms, and leek with a thin cream sauce.

When we got the bill we had a charge of 1.2 euro of bread, when we mentioned we didn't wanted or touched the bread the waiter told us it's not only the bread, it's also the table, the chairs, the plates and cutlery.
