Mini Grill Cafe — Restaurant in Municipality of Rethymnon

This was my favourite place in Crete, for real! We came early, probably were the first customers. The owner was super nice and wellcoming. Food was so amazing, so delicious! It beated my expectations by a lot! It's worth visiting, even if it would take few hour trip to get there, this place is a hidden gem! We ordered pita gyros, fried calamari (which came with delicious salad, some fried octopus and amazing homemade fries), tzatziki, fresh orange juice, capuccino fredo, water and paid just 22e. I must say that the portions were so generous that calamari plate was enough for two persons! After that the owner brought us some tasty apple pie. I felt just like at home, everything was made with love! I cannot express with words how much I loved it. Please visit this place, you wont regret it! 1000 out of 10! I will never forget...

Epic fail. Likely the higher rating are related to previous owners, as current ones are operating only for a couple of months, we were told. In any case, mess with orders, very slow service when only handful of customers are around, garlic bread burned outside and frozen inside, half-baked pizza, and finally kitchen breaking midway and most dishes not being delivered - is nothing, but a failure. Never go to this restaurant. Kitchen was broken, when we ordered (they told us about it 20 min after the order), so we didn’t receive our hot dishes.
