READ IF YOU ARE A TOURIST. Each Taverna in Salakos have a designated area with their own table and chairs. We would recommend you suss out the menus (and prices) at each of the tavernas and find one suitable for you.

As someone who has visited many times before, La Piaza is one of the best value places in the square. Amazing quality food and really good prices (€3 for Gyros). But you need to go into La Piaza and have them seat you so you don't accidentally sit at the wrong table.

Be careful of individuals hassling you to sit and eat at their restaurant. You typically get harassed by the few Tavernas who inflate their prices...

We love to come here everytime we visit Rhodes. The couple who run this place (Manolis and Maria?) are very friendly and offer you a warm welcome. She's in the kitchen making you a nice mix of traditional food. We love the fresh Orange Juice and the fried stuffed...
