Firstly, this is a very local restaurant, and both the atmosphere and prices reflect that. It offers really good value compared to the more touristy areas, and the portion sizes were generous. The fava bean cream was lovely, and the overall experience felt authentic.
However, some dishes didn’t quite hit the mark. The chicken souvlaki was tough and not very tender, and while the octopus was okay, it wasn’t outstanding. The olive oil and bread starter recommended by the waiter wasn’t great either, the bread was hard, chewy, and soaked in oil, almost like sliced toasty bread, which wasn’t to our taste.
