My family and I dined here during our trip to Rhodes in April. We were recommended here for its authentic food and traditional feel, and being away from the tourist traps. It was a 15-20 min walk from our resort which was appreciated after our large feast. As described the restaurant had a nice authentic vibe. The menu is large with many different options. From small to large plates of Greek dishes. There were a few fussy pups in our group but the menu caters for them too. We got a selection of dishes, most of which we shared around. We had so much pita. Some as a side and some came with some of the dishes. Thankfully it was delicious so didn’t mind eating a tonne of it. The hummus was significantly better than I’ve tried back home. Interestingly, I learnt when I got back home, hummus is originated in the Middle East not from Greece. Anyway, the standout dish for me was the meatballs which were full of flavour and paired excellently with the pita. I tried octopus for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it. Would I order it again? maybe, but I wouldn’t be rushing. The pork was okay, perhaps a bit rubbery. The moussaka was lovely. The ribs were fine but not very tender. The staff were pleasant enough and were able to help us with menu choices. Overall a nice meal out and well priced. Absolutely...

We had an absolutely incredible dinner here – honestly one of the best meals we've had in a long time.

We started with fried squid (perfectly cooked, light and crispy – amazing!) and prawns with garlic, lemon and parsley, which were bursting with flavour. The mushroom stifado was rich, deep, and delicious - they were so accommodating with diet choices. Even the fries were spot on.

Drinks were a treat too: they made us Aperol Spritz even though it wasn’t on the menu (fantastic) and the white wine was crisp and perfectly matched.

Dessert isn’t really a menu here – instead they gave us handmade chocolates. One vegan for my wife, one regular for me. Genuinely one of the best chocolates I’ve ever eaten. The perfect ending to the meal.

And the star of the evening: my husband had the veal souvlaki, which he’s still raving about. So tender and full of flavour that he’s been texting people about it!

Service, food, drinks – everything was just spot on. Can’t recommend...

This place is incredible. There were 3 of us (including one child) and we had more than enough food for the three of us. We massively overordered and the bill was still under 50 euros! Great setting in a quiet street away from the beach. Many of the customers are actual Greek people from the local neighbourhood which was the first signifier that it was going to be a good experience. Once the food started coming out these suspicions only increased and we were no disappointed. Every dish was a total hit. Bread and dips, lamb stifado, honey sesame cheese pies, fried cod… all of it wow. Staff were great and friendly. Couldn’t recommend this place more honestly. Just goes to show what a ten minute walk off the main strip gets you, the quality and overall experience is...

Really nice restaurant that serves mezze (Greek tapas) to share. Very busy with locals and therefore a nice lively atmosphere. We were welcomed with a warm friendly service. Everything was tasty and the cuttlefish cooked in it's own ink was delicious and prepared to perfection, we highly recommend to try. They have an extensive menu, we ended up ordering 6 dishes (spicy feta salad, mushrooms with cheese, fried veal liver, meatballs, fried pork bites, cuttlefish) and bread between the two of us and it really was more than enough. The bill came out to under 30€ which was a nice surprise and we got a delicious small chocolate dessert on the house. A little hidden gem that we definitely want to visit again!

My wife and I visited this restaurant on 2 occasions on our recent holiday. We had read good reviews about it and we were not disappointed. It is a family run business and appears to have a good reputation amongst locals and visitors like us to Ialysos. The menu is traditional Greek, our food on both visits was full of flavour, the portion sizes are good and reasonably priced. I can also recommend the medium sweet red wine. Last but not least are the owners, they make you feel welcome, give you time and help if needed to order. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
