ΤΟ ΚΙΟΣΚΙ — Restaurant in Municipality of Saronikos

This restaurant has, and always will have, a special place in my heart. I've been going there since I was young, and it has become a cherished part of my life. Every visit brings back a flood of memories, making it a nostalgic and comforting place for me. The food, while perhaps not the absolute greatest I have ever tasted, is consistently good enough to keep me coming back. Each dish is prepared with care and a touch of familiarity that makes the dining experience feel like home.

The atmosphere is truly wonderful, contributing significantly to the overall charm of the place. The decor is warm and inviting, creating a cozy environment that makes you want to linger a little longer. Whether you’re dining alone, with family, or with friends, the ambiance always feels just right. Not sure why people rate this 1 star?! We went on a Tuesday at 7pm and found everything to be great.

The location is as close to the sea as you can get without getting wet. They also have a small playground for the kids (swings etc). The view is wonderful especially at night when you can see the lights out to sea.

The food is typical greek taverna fish stuff, so if that isn't your thing, go somewhere else. The food was good and plenty of it for a very good price.

We had no issues with service. It was about half full when we got there and by about 8pm on, it was about 3/4 full. I guess at the weekends it could be an issue but the guy serving us was helpful, polite and came when needed.

We were a party of 4 adults and 2 kids and had a great evening.

We ordered 4 calamari, prawns, anchovies, 4 chips, 2 greek salads, and a couple more side plates plus 4 beers and 2 kids drinks and it only came to €100! Can't complain about that.

We will be going again and that...

Είμαστε γενικά μια χαλαρή παρέα , πάντα ευγενικοί με το προσωπικό και πάντα με σεβασμό και κατανόηση προς τον εργαζόμενο... Κατανοούμε οτί μπορεί το προσωπικό να έχει κουραστεί καθώς πλησιάζουμε προς το τέλος της σεζόν... Αυτό ομως δεν σημαίνει οτί μπορούν να συμβαίνουν κάποια πράγματα.... Για παράδειγμα : Ψάχνουμε τραπέζι και αφότου βρίσκουμε ένα άδειο στην παραλία περιμένουμε να μαζέψουν τα πιάτα από τους προηγούμενους πελάτες... Αφού μαζεύουν τα πιάτα ,κάποια κομμάτια κρέατος είχαν πέσει απο τα πιάτα και ήταν πλέον πάνω στο τραπέζι , το οποίο αφου είχαν φάει πάνω σε αυτό , είχε επίσης λεκέδες απο λάδια κλπ. Καθόμαστε και έρχεται η κοπέλα που ηταν υπεύθυνη για το μάζεμα του τραπεζιού και απλώνει κατευθείαν πανω στα κομμάτια κρέατος και πάνω απο τα λάδια άλλο - χάρτινο - τραπεζομάντιλο... Οταν της ζητάμε ευγενικά να καθαριστεί το τραπέζι μας λέει οτι το τραπέζι είναι μια χαρά και οτί το τραπεζομάντιλο ( το οποίο είχε "ποτίσει" ηδη απο το λάδι ) ηταν αρκετό ! Απλώνει λοιπόν το τραπεζομάντιλο και εμείς πάμε να ζητήσουμε απο το ταμείο να έρθει κάποιος να καθαρίσει το τραπέζι... Μετά απο κάνα δύο λεπτά έρχεται η ίδια κοπέλα με τον δίσκο που ειχε ποτήρια ( πάλι βρώμικα , με δακτυλιές και σημάδια απο χείλια )... Αφου την ενημερώνουμε οτί θα έρθει άτομο να καθαρίσει και να μην στρώσει τα πιάτα για να μην κουραστεί , εκείνη λέει " βγάλτε την τσάντα σας από την καρέκλα για να ακουμπήσω τον δίσκο " με ανείπωτη αγένεια ! Εμ, εκεί είπαμε ως εδώ και σηκωθήκαμε και φύγαμε... Δεν γίνεται να υπάρχει αυτή η έλλειψη καθαριότητας σε χώρους εστίασης .... Είναι ανήκουστο να μην δέχονται να καθαρίσουν ενα τραπέζι και μετά να έχουν και τόσο άσχημο τρόπο συμπεριφοράς... Ειναι κρίμα για ενα τέτοιο πανέμορφο σημείο να το χάνει για τοσο...
