We'd seen this place on Mark Weins YouTube channel, and since we were picking up a car from the airport, it was only a short drive to this taverna.

The lamb chops were delicious. Probably some of the best I've had with perfectly grilled crunchy lamb fat lining each chop and tender meat with a smoky grill flavour.

Unfortunately, the rest of our order was below average. The Greek salad was warm and was served with no feta. The fried zuchinni was almost inedible.

Also, the service was mediocre and didn't make us feel overly comfortable or welcome. We were also charged for bread, which we didn't ask for or receive but have come accustomed to seeing on our bill as a "tourist tax" (along with the overpriced bottled water you never asked for).

To top it off, we were then asked to pay a tip with our bill to who I assume was the manager (an older guy who appeared with the bill but provided no other service). After respectfully declining (based on the no feta, bread tax, and lack of any deserving service) we were then lectured about how he knows Australia has a tipping culture because his friend owns multiple restaurants in Australia (we absolutely do not have a tipping culture) and that Greeks expect tips from tourists (very different to what the Greeks I know say is culturally acceptable).

While the lamb chops are delicious, I wouldn't bother travelling from Athens centre to this taverna. You can find better all round food, value and service...

Overcrowded especially during the weekends. We had to wait for at least 20 minutes before we could be seated and give our order, after the “rush hours” had long gone. The waiters are tired, non-engaging with the service, being mostly on automatic pilot. The fact that we were surrounded by unattended tables full of leftovers, was not appetising at all. Mass production- mass consumption kind of situation and long opening hours, yet they fail to accommodate all meat requests. Kokoretsi, one of the top-selling plates, was sold out on a Sunday at 19:00, (while the tavern goes on until midnight) proving bad management without any foresight. On the food, big portions did not mean necessarily good quality. The lamb chops were good but rest assured, it comes at a high cost. The fried zucchini plate was a disgrace to fried food. I left with the feeling of not returning back as my conscious would not allow to spend so much on...

The food is amazing! Really good quality of meat, very well cooked/grilled and huge portions.

The restaurant is dirty, not well maintained and dated. I would recommend NOT to use the toilets which were horrible, had no toilet paper, no handsoap, the floor was full of water ( I hope) and in general doesn't reflect the standards of the greek hospitality. The waiters were overwhelmed, tired, therefore they put zero effort to give customer service. The store is super packed all day long, which was for me unfair for the employees to go through all this pressure of serving people. The store management must take actions to recover the restaurant's general picture from the poor service and maintenance/cleaning that is the current status. I hope there will be progress soon because we would love to visit again and taste their delicious food but definitely not in these...

Sitting in a Taverna and enjoying the grilled meat from the best restaurant ever. 30 minutes drive by car to this place and enjoy the oriental grills ranging from pork, beef and lamb. I enjoyed mostly the grilled liver and the lamb ribs. They were very tasty. Firstly we were welcomed by the owner of the triangle and then as a starters we had a typical Green Greek Salad with feta cheese topped with olive oil, fried potato chips and grilled bread topped with some Greek spices and olive oil. Then for the main dishes we had the lamb ribs, Grilled liver, grilled beef fillet and sausages. They were simply magnificent. At the end we had the dessert as a sour yoghurt topped with honey. The place is very cosy and overlooking a triangle square which i guess the name where derived from. I recommend this restaurant for an evening dinner to enjoy the food and the place.

The food came so quickly and I was so distracted by the discussions of our table, that I forgot to take photos of the food! Paidakia (lamb chops) were very nice, tender and well grilled. The feta cheese was delicious and big portion! Completely village style feta, one of the best I have tried the last few years. Greek salad was with very fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, home grown most likely. The environment was very nice and the pine trees create a cool atmosphere, even in the summer. The only downside was that the prices (~30-35/ person, a bit high considering that it is a traditional village tavern) and the starters. Fried zucchini was not very nice. During the pick hours, probably you will need a reservation. Overall, recommended (4,5/5).
